BlackVue Affiliate Program is a way of rewarding our Affiliates financially for driving new sales of the BlackVue products on www.blackvue.com.

You make money by referring new customers to our website – for each sale made from your referral (link, coupon code), you get a commission.

You have to first register as our affiliate on our website – we manage the BlackVue Affiliate Program in-house, meaning we don’t use a third party to do it for us. We directly track all the sales made from your referrals and manage all the payments.

First you need to go to www.blackvue.com/affiliate-area/ and register. Make sure to read our Terms & Conditions and agree to them. We individually revise and accept each Affiliate’s registration, so the process may take a couple of days before you are able to earn commissions. 

Absolutely not. On the contrary, you will be earning money!

Yes, it is. Affiliate programs are quite common among huge websites and companies – even Amazon has its own program. 🙂

Unfortunately, we can’t answer that question for you. You should ensure you comply with all relevant taxation laws that apply to you.

We offer a fixed rate of 4% for all BlackVue products available on our website (third party accessories and shipping fee excluded).

To be able to receive payments, you need to have an active PayPal account, as you will receive money on your PayPal account. Currently we do not offer other ways of payment.

We pay our Affiliates once a month (in the first week of the month, KST-based) after they reach $100 in commissions. In other words, if the total of your earned commissions is less than $100 (one hundred US dollars) on the last day of the month, you won’t get paid the following month. Your earnings will accumulate and once you reach the $100 threshold, you will get paid.

Example:

In January you earned $67 in commissions, which is not enough for you to get paid. However, you earned additional $40 the following month (February). Now you have accumulated $107 in commissions, which means that you will get paid in the following month – March.

In the Affiliate Area above, click on the "Affiliate URLs" tab. You will see the Referral URL Generator.

After inputting any link you want to refer to (from BlackVue website) into the "Page URL" box, click on "Generate URL".

Copy the generated referral link to share with your followers - you will receive a commission every time someone purchases BlackVue products through that link.

As long as you have a platform to promote BlackVue, you will be able to participate in the program regardless of where you reside. By platform we mean: a website, a personal blog, an Instagram account, a YouTube account, Facebook Page, and other social media platforms not mentioned above that we can easily access and check. You also need to comply with our Terms and Conditions.

Our tracking cookie will remain valid for 30 days. It means that if someone makes a purchase on www.blackvue.com within 30 days from the day they first clicked on your referral link, you will earn a commission.

You can see your stats – including your commissions - in the “Statistics” tab in the Affiliate Area (visible after you log-in).

If the order made through your referral is canceled (for any reason), it was deemed fraudulent or the Customer returned the product, your commission (the specific amount you earned for that particular referral) will be removed from your earnings.

Yes – if you already have a discount code, let us know and we will connect it to your affiliate account. If you don’t have one, you can request it and we will issue one for you. Your followers/readers/subscribers can get 10% off of all our dashcams and Parking Mode accessories, and we offer free shipping for orders over $200.

If somebody uses your discount code, they will get a 10% discount, and you will get your regular commission.

You will probably have a higher conversion with the coupon code than a referral link (in other words, more people will buy BlackVue dashcams with your coupon code than without it), which will lead to higher sales and more commissions for you. Please note however, that the 5% you get will be calculated on the discounted price if a coupon code is used.

There are various ways you can promote BlackVue products by using your own influence and follower reach.

Here are some examples for Instagram

• Putting your affiliate link in your Instagram bio
• If you have more than 10,000 followers: sharing your coupon code via Insta Stories and linking your affiliate link (swipe up feature)
• If you have less than 10,000 followers: sharing your coupon code via Insta Stories
• Sharing interesting footage from your own BlackVue dashcam + promoting the coupon code in the description

Of course there are many more ways you can help us promote BlackVue (on Instagram and beyond) and as long as you’re not doing anything illegal or what’s considered “morally grey area”, we encourage you to be creative!

We created a few sample images you can use for your Instagram posts and stories. Don’t use them exclusively, though – think of them as more of an inspiration than the only source of your promotional activities!

Please note that when promoting BlackVue, you need to comply with the FTC’s rules. FTC requires a disclosure (statement, hashtag, etc.) within any and all pages, blog posts, social media posts etc. where affiliate links are posted as an endorsement. Make sure that it is clear that you are financially compensated if somebody purchases through your link/code.
